Founded in 1956 as Vakutronik, VacuTec has pioneered the development of ionizing radiation detectors. Today, it operates internationally with over 60 highly skilled employees. VacuTec develops and markets a diverse range of ionization chambers and counter tubes for medical, industrial, and environmental applications.

For industrial applications, VacuTec offers conventional ionization chambers as well as chamber arrays, enabling cross-profile measurement and defect detection.

All ionization chambers are custom manufactured to specifications, and high-quality amplifiers with high voltage supply, measuring head housing, and bus systems are available as accessories.

Environmentally, VacuTec produces counter tubes for measuring alpha, beta, gamma, neutron, and X-ray. The detectors are used for measurement of the radiation level in radiation protection and environmental monitoring. Dose rate probes are designed for adaptability across various measurement tasks, from low-dose environmental monitoring to nuclear power plant assessment.
