国家电力投资集团有限公司（简称“国家电投集团”）是中央直接管理的特大型国有重要骨干企业，肩负保障国家能源安全的重要使命，由中国电力投资集团公司与国家核电技术有限公司于2015年5月重组成立。 

截至2025年3月底，国家电投集团资产规模1.9万亿元，员工13万人，所属二级单位68家。总装机2.65亿千瓦，其中清洁能源装机占比72.77%。

Introduction to SPIC

State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) is a major state-owned power generator in China, with businesses covering centralized power and heat generation, consumer-side integrated smart energy, hydrogen-based e-fuel, etc. SPIC owns all generation types including PV, wind, nuclear, hydro, coal, gas and biomass, with PV power capacity, new energy capacity and clean energy capacity topping the world. Guided by the “Balance Growth Strategy”, SPIC is committed to becoming a world-class clean energy enterprise with global competitiveness.

As of September 30, 2024, SPIC’s clean energy accounted for over 70% of its 246 GW consolidated installed capacity. With 74.2 GW of PV power, SPIC continues leading the world in scale, while promoting new business models like hybrid hydro-wind-solar, hybrid fishery-solar, agrivoltaics, PV desertification control, etc. Owning and operating multiple onshore and offshore wind farm clusters totaling 53.3 GW, SPIC is the second largest wind power producer in the world. As a licensed nuclear power developer and operator in China, SPIC owns eight reactors in operation and six under construction, most of which are Gen-III reactors. With installed capacity of 25.3 GW, the group is also an important hydropower producer with cascade HPPs on the upper reaches of the Yellow River, and the Yuanshui River (a tributary of the Yangtze River).

SPIC actively implements the Belt and Road Initiative, with presence in 47 countries and regions including Brazil, Mexico, Türkiye, Pakistan, etc. As of September 30, 2024, SPIC owns 11,442 MW overseas assets in operation, with clean energy accounting for 72.6%, and 1,819 MW under construction.
