China Huaneng's total assets exceed 1.7 trillion yuan. The total installed power capacity of China Huaneng surpassed 279 GW with the proportion of low-carbon and clean energy installed capacity exceeding 53%. Among them, the thermal power installed capacity reached 146 GW, solar power 56.35 GW, wind power 47.73 GW, and hydro power 29.56GW. Its coal annual output capacity surpassed 100 million tons. Huaneng’s overseas power assets are distributed in 6 countries, with 7 overseas representative offices. The total number of employees is about 123,000. 

中国华能自2004年涉足核电领域以来，先后在山东、福建、海南、辽宁等省份开展核电厂址开发工作，形成了山东石岛湾、海南昌江、福建霞浦三大沿海核电基地，并储备了多个厂址。目前在运一座高温气冷堆核电站，在建山东石岛湾扩建工程一期和海南昌江核电项目二期共4台压水堆核电机组，装机500万千瓦。福建霞浦规划建设1台60万千瓦高温气冷堆机组和4台百万千瓦级压水堆机组，前期工作有序开展。此外，还有多个核电厂址处于储备开发阶段。

Since China Huaneng set foot in the field of nuclear power in 2004, it has successively carried out nuclear power plant site development work in Shandong, Fujian, Hainan, Liaoning and other provinces, forming three major coastal nuclear power bases: Shidao Bay in Shandong, Changjiang in Hainan, and Xiapu in Fujian, and has reserved multiple plant sites. At present, a high-temperature gas-cooled reactor nuclear power plant is in operation, and there are four pressurized water reactor nuclear power units under construction in phase I of Shandong Shidao Bay Expansion Project and phase II of Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Project, with an installed capacity of 5 million kilowatts. Xiapu Nuclear Power Plant plans to build a 600,000-kilowatt high-temperature gas-cooled reactor unit and four million-level pressurized water reactor units, and the preliminary work is being carried out in an orderly manner. In addition, there are several nuclear power plant sites still in the reserve development stage.
